The Elevate is an active lift. Correct setup of the kneepad, foot tray, and powered base improves both safety and patient participation.
Preparation Checklist

Charge the batteries

Adjust the kneepad to the patient (one-hand adjustment)

Position or remove the foot tray as needed

Clear the transfer path
-
Explain the process and encourage the patient to use the hand grips
Standard Transfer Sequence

Use the powered base to position the legs around the chair or wheelchair.

Lock the brakes.
-
Have the patient place their feet and knees correctly and hold the grips.

Raise the patient smoothly into a standing or near-standing position.
-
Complete the transfer (toilet, chair, bed edge, etc.).
-
Lower the patient slowly.
-
Unlock the brakes and move the lift away.
Restorative Standing
The removable foot tray supports supervised standing and short stepping practice.
