Hoyer® Loop Style Long Seat Sling

The Hoyer Loop Style Long Seat Sling is a full-body passive sling designed for patients who need complete support during transfers. Its long seat design provides extended under-thigh and body support, making it suitable for users who remain in the sling for longer periods (such as during bed making) or for some amputee patients after proper assessment. It is commonly used for bed-to-chair and chair-to-chair transfers.

This sling has a standard safe working load of 500 lbs. It is available in color-coded sizes:

• Extra Small (Brown)
• Small (Red)
• Medium (Yellow)
• Large (Green)
• Extra Large (Blue)

Bariatric versions (with white striped binding) are available for higher capacities (up to 850 lbs) when used with high-capacity lifts such as the Calibre or HPL700.

This is a loop-style sling designed for use with Hoyer lifts that have a 6-point spreader bar. Compatible models include:

• Hoyer HPL450
• Hoyer HPL500
• Hoyer HPL700
• Hoyer Elara

It is not compatible with clip-style (4-point) cradles.

Yes. This reusable sling can typically be machine washed (up to 185°F / 85°C). Mesh versions are preferred for bathing because they dry quickly. Do not use bleach, as it can damage the material and make the sling unsafe.

Inspect the sling before every use. Discard and replace it immediately if you notice fraying, torn fabric, broken stitching, or damaged loops.

Important: Joerns Hoyer recommends using only authentic Hoyer/Joerns slings with their lifts. Aftermarket or non-genuine slings are not approved and may create safety risks.
