Hoyer® Bariatric Hammock Sling

Compatible Lifts: Calibre / HPL700 (bariatric loop / 6-point spreader bar)

Note: Only smaller hammock sizes should be used with the HPL700 because of bed-clearance limits.

The Hoyer Bariatric Hammock Sling is a full-body hammock-style sling for bariatric patients who need even weight distribution and extra comfort during transfers. It is made from triple-skinned, breathable 3D spacer fabric and includes integrated head support plus a pommel strap for added security.

Rated to 850 lbs, it uses a 6-point loop attachment and is intended for Hoyer bariatric lifts with a matching bariatric spreader bar, including the Calibre and HPL700. Because of bed-clearance limits on the HPL700, only smaller hammock sizes should be used with that lift.

This sling is well suited for patients who remain in the sling for longer periods, such as during bed making or hygiene care. Size should not be selected by weight alone. Each patient should be individually assessed.
