The genuine Joerns Hoyer 0Y0037 6-Point Spreader Bar Assembly is the standard complete spreader bar assembly used on Hoyer Advance electric and hydraulic models.
It is designed specifically for the Advance and uses six attachment points for compatible loop-style Hoyer slings.
The 0Y0037 is not the same spreader bar used on Hoyer Presence or Stature models. Those professional lifts use different spreader bar and cradle assemblies.
Advance 6-Point Spreader Bar With Integrated Scale
For facilities or caregivers who need patient weighing capability, the Joerns Hoyer HOY-ADV-6PTWSC 6-Point Spreader Bar With Integrated Scale is an Advance-specific accessory.
It combines the same loop-style sling attachment concept with a built-in digital scale so patient weight can be measured during the transfer process.
Adding the scale does not increase the safe working load of the Advance. The complete system remains limited by the safe working load of the lift and the lowest-rated component being used.
Compatible Hoyer Loop-Style Slings
The Advance works with compatible Hoyer loop-style slings designed for 6-point spreader bars.
Common compatible sling families include Full Back, Quickfit, Access, and other Hoyer loop-style designs appropriate for the patient and transfer.

The Full Back Sling is rated to 500 lb, but the Advance itself has a lower safe working load. The lift's safe working load must never be exceeded.

The Hoyer Access Padded Sling is a specialized loop-style toileting sling compatible with the Advance.
Its open design provides access for toileting and hygiene transfers.

Access Sling With Head Support
The Hoyer Access Padded Sling With Head Support provides an additional toileting option for patients who require more head support.
Patient suitability should still be assessed before using an Access-style sling.
Disposable Full Back Sling
The Hoyer Loop Style Full Back Disposable Sling provides a single-patient-use option for situations where infection-control requirements make a disposable sling appropriate.

Some compatible slings may have a higher rated capacity, but a higher sling capacity does not increase the safe working load of the lift.
Never exceed the safe working load of the Advance, sling, spreader bar, scale, or any other component in the transfer system.
Do Not Mix Loop & Clip Sling Systems
The standard Advance 6-point spreader bar is designed for loop-style Hoyer slings.
Do not attempt to attach Hoyer Comfort Securi3 clip-style slings to the standard Advance spreader bar.
If you already own a sling and are unsure whether it is compatible, verify the sling attachment type before use.
Inspect the Sling Before Every Transfer
Inspect the sling before each use for fraying, tears, cuts, damaged stitching, worn loops, or other deterioration.
Do not use a damaged sling.
Before raising the patient, confirm that all required sling loops are properly and securely attached to the spreader bar.
Inspect the Spreader Bar
The spreader bar and its attachment hardware should also be checked before use.
Inspect for visible damage, excessive wear, loose hardware, or any condition that could affect secure sling attachment.
