Recommended Slings
General-purpose everyday transfers
Hoyer Full Back Padded Loop Sling – Suitable for the majority of patients and most transfer types.
Toileting and hygiene
Hoyer Access Padded Sling – Open bottom design allows clothing to be removed while the patient remains in the sling.
Extended sitting or amputee use
Hoyer Full Body Hammock Loop Style Sling – Provides full support and can remain under the patient longer.
Sling Sizing Tips
Always match the sling size to the patient’s measurements and weight, not just the lift’s capacity. When in doubt, contact us with the patient’s height, weight, and torso measurements and we will recommend the correct size.
Important Compatibility Notes
The Advance-E primarily uses loop-style (webbing) slings with a 6-point cradle. Clip-style (Securi3) systems are more common on the Presence and Stature models. If you already own clip-style slings, discuss compatibility before ordering.
