Preparation Checklist

Ensure a battery pack is charged and installed

Clear the transfer path

Select and apply the correct loop-style sling

Position the base around the chair, bed, or wheelchair

Lock the rear casters

Explain each step to the patient
Standard Transfer Sequence

Position the open base around the patient.
-
Lock the brakes.
-
Attach the sling to the 6-point spreader bar.
-
Raise the patient smoothly with the hand control.
-
Move carefully to the destination surface.

Lower the patient in a controlled manner.
-
Remove the sling and unlock the brakes.
Floor Recovery Note
The minimum height of approximately 22.2" supports many floor recoveries. Always verify clearance and sling suitability before attempting a floor lift.
